This full-time Cyber Security Engineer position is based in Charlotte, NC, focusing on safeguarding the organization''s data, systems, and networks.

The role involves planning and implementing security measures, troubleshooting issues, and conducting assessments.

Proficiency in generic programming languages and technologies is required.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement security measures to protect organizational data and networks.

Troubleshoot and resolve security and network issues promptly.

Respond effectively to system and network security breaches.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing regularly.

Participate in the change management process to ensure security controls are maintained.

Qualifications

Degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or a related field.

5 years of experience in incident detection, response, and forensics.

Experience with security tools like firewalls, network access controllers, and intrusion detection platforms.

Proficiency in general programming languages.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
