Job Title: Ethical Hacker (Entry-Level / Beginner)

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ethical Hacker to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying security vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, and helping protect organizational systems, networks, and applications from cyber threats. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or professionals beginning their careers in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities - Perform vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing on networks, applications, and systems.

- Identify, document, and report security vulnerabilities.

- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security incidents and threats.

- Support the implementation of security controls and best practices.

- Conduct security audits and compliance checks.

- Research emerging cybersecurity threats and attack techniques.

- Collaborate with IT and security teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

- Prepare security assessment reports and documentation.

Required Skills - Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.

- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Firewalls).

- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux.

- Understanding of common cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.

- Basic knowledge of penetration testing methodologies.

- Familiarity with security tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, or Nessus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills - Knowledge of web application security concepts such as OWASP Top 10.

- Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Understanding of SIEM and security monitoring tools.

Educational Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Relevant internships, projects, or cybersecurity training programs are a plus.

Preferred Certifications - Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Training/Certification in Progress

- CompTIA Security+

- eJPT (Junior Penetration Tester)

- Google Cybersecurity Certificate

- Any cybersecurity-related certification
