Head of Penetration Testing A high-growth technology consultancy is scaling its global penetration testing capability and needs a strong leader to take the reins. This role sits at the heart of delivery, performance and client experience, bringing structure, pace and commercial focus to a critical function. Role Overview: Location: Hybrid/Leeds (1-2 times on site per month) Package: 100,000- 120,000pa & Benefits Industry: Cyber Security What You’ll Be Doing: Leading the day-to-day performance and operations of a multi-region penetration testing practice Managing utilisation, capacity planning and revenue delivery across the team Ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all client engagements Partnering with Sales and Client Success to scope, shape and win complex consultancy work Acting as a senior escalation point for high-profile or sensitive engagements Driving improvements in methodology, reporting standards and delivery frameworks Coaching consultants to operate as trusted advisors with strong client engagement skills Supporting strategic growth by aligning operational execution with evolving capabilities Main Skills Needed: Strong background in penetration testing across infrastructure, web, API and cloud environments Experience in red teaming is highly preferred. Experience leading or managing high-performing security or consultancy teams Proven ability to scope, price and deliver complex consultancy engagements Solid understanding of offensive security tools, frameworks and methodologies Familiarity with industry standards such as CREST or CHECK Excellent stakeholder management skills, including C-level engagement Strong commercial awareness with a focus on utilisation and revenue performance Experience working in a Consultancy would be advantageous.
