Penetration Tester

Role – Penetration Tester (All Levels) – NV1 Cleared Location – Canberra | Hybrid Working

We are seeking Penetration Testers at all levels to join a global specialist cyber security consultancy delivering high-impact services to government and enterprise clients. This role is ideal for technically strong testers who enjoy client engagement and working closely with sales and delivery teams in a consultative environment.

The Role You will work in a hybrid working environment based in Canberra, partnering with clients to understand their security needs and deliver clear, actionable outcomes. The role blends hands‑on technical testing with stakeholder engagement and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting web application penetration testing and related security assessments
• Working collaboratively with sales and consulting teams in a consultative, pre- and post-sales capacity
• Meeting with clients to gather requirements, scope engagements, and explain methodologies
• Producing high-quality technical and executive-level reports
• Presenting findings, risks, and remediation guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Key requirements:

• NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)
• Experience in web application penetration testing
• Software development skills and a solid understanding of how applications are built
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients
• Experience working in a consultative or client-facing environment is highly regarded
