We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Penetration Tester to join our client for a 6 months contract.

Responsibilities - Perform penetration testing (PT) on web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems to identify security vulnerabilities.

- Conduct web application penetration testing following industry standards such as OWASP Top 10.

- Support vulnerability management by identifying, analyzing, and reporting security risks.

- Perform both automated and manual security testing to detect vulnerabilities.

- Provide detailed reports with risk ratings and remediation recommendations.

- Work closely with development and IT teams to validate fixes and improve application security.

- Assist in improving overall security posture through proactive testing and analysis.

Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability management.

- Having Baseline clearance or above level will be required.

- Should be residing in Melbourne / Sydney / Canberra or Brisbane.

- Strong experience in web penetration testing and application security assessments.

- Hands‑on experience with security tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or Nessus.

- Good understanding of common web vulnerabilities and attack vectors.

- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar) is an advantage.

- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
