Penetration Testing Consultant – Offensive Security (Melbourne)

Overview We are seeking an experienced Penetration Testing Consultant to join a high‑performing Offensive Security team within a large, complex enterprise environment. This is an opportunity to work across diverse technologies at scale, helping identify and remediate security vulnerabilities that could impact critical systems and customers.

The Role - Deliver end‑to‑end penetration testing engagements across a broad range of enterprise systems and technologies.

• Conduct penetration testing across web applications, APIs, mobile apps (iOS & Android), infrastructure, cloud (AWS/Azure), and hardware.
• Define and scope security testing activities with stakeholders.
• Identify, exploit and validate vulnerabilities.
• Triage findings and risk‑rate vulnerabilities using industry‑standard frameworks (e.g., CVSS).
• Produce clear, high‑quality technical reports outlining risk and remediation recommendations.
• Support large technology programs by shaping and delivering security testing requirements.
• Contribute to broader offensive security initiatives.

About You - Proven experience as a Penetration Tester in a large, complex organisation.

• Strong technical capability across application, infrastructure and cloud security testing.
• Experience testing up‑to‑date architectures and enterprise environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to self‑manage engagements and deliver to deadlines.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (Computer Science, Cyber Security or similar).
• Industry certifications such as OSCP, CREST (CRT/CCT) or equivalent.
