Principal Penetration Tester

Overview Most security roles want you to find vulnerabilities. This role asks you to think like the attacker who chains them together. We’re looking for a Principal Penetration Tester — a senior offensive security professional who leads engagements with the depth of a researcher and the judgment of someone who has done this long enough to know where scanners stop being useful.

About You You're an analytical problem-solver with a natural curiosity for how systems really break. You think in attack paths, chain weaknesses together, and ask \"what would an attacker actually do next?\" — and at this level, you’re also the one setting that standard for others on an engagement. New technologies don’t intimidate you — they motivate you.

The signals that matter here are offensive thinking, technical depth, and leadership under ambiguity. In practice, this shows up as strong networking, OS fundamentals, and scripting capability.

Responsibilities - Lead complex penetration testing and adversary simulation engagements end-to-end, from scoping through reporting

• Think beyond single vulnerabilities and assess how weaknesses combine into full attack chains
• Set technical standards and mentor less experienced testers on attack-path reasoning, not just tool usage
• Build tooling and automate workflows to improve the efficiency and depth of offensive engagements
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, clearly articulating risk and remediation strategy from an attacker's point of view

Experience Needed - A strong offensive security background - penetration testing, red teaming, or attacker simulation, with demonstrated experience.

• Solid networking and operating system fundamentals
• Scripting or automation capability, ideally with some tooling or exploit development
• Communication skills to lead client conversations and translate complex attack scenarios for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike

Titles and certifications matter less here; it matters how you think and how you approach problems.
