The Security Engineer will perform penetration testing across applications, APIs, and backend services, identify vulnerabilities, and support remediation with engineering teams. They will design, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, including authentication, authorization, and privilege management for internal tools and customer-facing systems. The role includes contributing to secure backend development, integrating security best practices into microservices and cloud-native architectures, and reviewing code for security issues. The Security Engineer will collaborate with AI researchers and platform engineers to secure data pipelines, models, and infrastructure, while helping define security standards, incident response procedures, and compliance practices. Regular responsibilities include security monitoring, threat modeling, documentation, and continuous improvement of security tooling and automation.Qualifications Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Security Engineering, with hands-on experience implementing security controls and best practices.Practical experience in Application Security and Information Security, including secure coding, code review, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.Knowledge of Network Security and related concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention.Experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, custom scripts) and reporting clear, actionable findings.Background in backend development (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go, or similar) and familiarity with APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Understanding of IAM concepts (RBAC, SSO, OAuth2/OIDC, MFA) and experience implementing or integrating IAM solutions.Comfort working in Linux-based environments, using CLI tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines with integrated security checks.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex security issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security,
