Senior Security Engineer - Azure Cloud

Title- Senior Security Engineer Willing to consider candidates also local to Tampa, FL, San Francisco, CA, Birmingham, AL and San Diego, CA

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer with a strong background in Network Security, Azure Security, Security Assessments, and Penetration Testing . The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and securing on-premises and cloud environments, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting security reviews, and partnering with engineering teams to implement effective security controls.

Required Skills: - 8+ years of experience in Information Security and Network Security .

• Hands-on experience with Azure Security services including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSG), Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Key Vault.
• Experience conducting manual and automated security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing .
• Strong understanding of Application Security Architecture , SSDLC, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience securing hybrid environments (on-premises and Azure cloud).
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and OWASP .
• Strong networking fundamentals including firewalls, routing, VPNs, segmentation, and secure connectivity.

Mandatory Certifications: - Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)

• Plus at least one of the following: - CISSP
• CCSP
• CEH
• CCNP Security / CCNA Security
